Kamala’s Musings

In issue 20 we talked about the characteristics of the first three chakras and related them to the earth, water and fire elements as a way of understanding how to use them in our daily lives. Now we’ll continue with the heart, throat and spiritual eye chakras which are related to air, ether, and super ether.

The chakras is a vast, complex system and this is only one way of working with them. But it’s a very useful way that’s directly applicable to our daily lives and the types of energy we need to develop as an integrated, balanced human being.

Now, it’s important to keep in mind that all the chakras work together at the same time. And we can’t just sort of pick and choose the elements that appeal to us the most. We need the right expression of all these qualities because together they make a whole person able to function in the manifested world. Each of them also represents a more subtle understanding, a more subtle expression, but even the subtle expressions have to be grounded. For example, the solidity of the Earth—the commitment to truth—is essential for spiritual progress.

So in this issue, we’ll also talk about how the qualities of the heart, throat, and spiritual eye chakras must be grounded in the qualities of the earth, water, and fire chakras. You might want to refresh your memory of the first three chakras and elements by reading or rereading issue 20.

I’m so happy to be able to share these teachings and inspiration with you. 🤗

With joy and blessings,
