I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the fascinating subject of prosperity—maybe because my rent just went up—again!
Many of us trying to lead a spiritual life dismiss paying attention to our prosperity as being too worldly, too materialistic. “Money is the root of all evil,” we’ve been told. But the misunderstanding here is that the obstacle to spiritual growth is really the “love of money” and attaching our happiness to something outside ourselves. Money itself is neutral. It’s a flow of energy that can be used for good or for evil.
True prosperity goes far beyond our financial situation. It’s a feeling of abundance, of having enough, of having what we need. It’s about energy and magnetism.
We learn to increase our energy and direct it inward and upward. Then our uplifted energy creates magnetism which draws what we need to us like the earth’s gravity pulling everything to its center. And, based on these experiences, we develop a knowing or faith in a benevolent universe that supports us.
This month we have many articles on prosperity taken beyond the material to the source of our feelings of well-being, abundance, and contentment. I hope you enjoy it.
